Buses
Groups arriving by bus should note that the United States Park Police (202.426.6841) discourages bus parking on the Mall. Recommended bus parking areas.

Places to eat
The Freer and Sackler do not have on-site eateries; however, there are places to eat close by and in other Smithsonian museums. The nearest dining option is located in the Smithsonian Castle.
Places to stay
Bag lunches
Because all bags need to be checked by security, please leave personal items and lunches on the bus if possible. If you must bring lunches inside, please place them in clear plastic bags so they can easily pass inspection. Arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes before your tour to allow time for the security check.
