Silk Road Society: Community Partnerships

Silk Road Society membership provides exciting benefits at several DC-area hotspots.

Bikram Yoga Reston: A yoga studio offering 50 classes per week in Bikram Yoga—a series of 26 postures completed in a heated room, designed to provide optimal health and longevity. All levels welcome. Silk Road Society members receive a 15% discount on all classes.

Chaplin’s Restaurant and Bar (Shaw): A 1920s-themed Japanese restaurant and cocktail bar. The décor represents a modern interpretation of Tokyo, at a time when silent films began to carve a place in Japanese culture. The dark and rustic film noir motif is based on entertainment that complements Chef Myo Htun’s authentic Japanese and ramen menu. A mix of 1920s cocktails and modern interpretations of classic cocktails is available, along with beer, wine, and sake. Silk Road Society members receive a 10% discount on their bill.

Indique (all restaurants):  True to its mantra of “Unique Indian Flavors,” Indique offers modern twists on classical fare from north and south India. The restaurant continues to create innovative takes on American favorites including lamb chops, mussels, and tacos. Silk Road Society members receive a 10% discount on any order.

JADE Fitness (Capitol Hill): A unique fitness facility that provides high-intensity training, alignment-based fitness, and weight-management programs. Signature fitness classes include Weekend Warrior, ABC Workout (Arms, Butt, and Core), Body Blast, and Flow and Rocket Yoga. Silk Road Society members receive a 10% discount on gym membership and all classes.

Jordin’s Paradise (Dupont Circle): A boutique dance and fitness studio with a wide variety of classes, including Doonya®: The Bollywood Workout. Silk Road Society members receive a 15% discount on any single drop-in class, 10-class pass, or retail product.

Lebanese Taverna (all full-service restaurants): Serving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine for more than 30 years in the DC area, including vegetarian and gluten-free items. Silk Road Society members and one guest receive a 10% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages.

KoChix (Bloomingdale): A family-owned, mom-and-pop takeout restaurant serving Korean-style chicken wings. KoChix uses authentic Korean spices and makes its sauce daily with fresh ingredients. Silk Road Society members receive a 10% discount on any order.

Pansaari (Dupont Circle): A café and market bringing the traditions of the owner’s hometown, Jaipur, India, to the DC community. Find fresh Indian spices and local produce, daily prepared foods, a full chai bar, cooking classes, beautiful fabrics and linens, and a place to sit down and relax. Members receive one free chai per visit and a 10% discount on cooking classes.

Past Tense Yoga (Columbia Heights): A welcoming, open yoga studio for newcomers that strengthens, stretches, and unwinds. Silk Road Society members receive a 10% discount on class passes.

Ping Pong Dim Sum (Dupont Circle, Chinatown): Serving up irresistible Dim Sum, innovative cocktails, and luxurious Chinese teas, Ping Pong’s vibrant locations are a great way to enjoy Dim Sum with a twist. The cosmopolitan restaurants boast a dim sum bar, sunken dining room great for large groups, outdoor terraces in Dupont, and a buzzing cocktail bar with award-winning libations. Silk Road Society members receive 15% off.

Swirl & Sip: An online wine retailer that "makes buying wine extremely easy." Swirl & Sip classifies wine into four categories: Hidden Gems Under $12, Gold Medals Under $25, 90 Points Under $25, and 91 Points Under $50. Stroga (Adams Morgan): A yoga studio offering strength training and yoga in a bright, spacious facility. Silk Road Society members receive a 15% discount on all class packs.

Zentan (Logan Circle): Located in the Donovan on 14th Street, Zentan offers modern Japanese comfort food from Executive Chef Yo Matsuzaki and a Japanese-influenced craft cocktail program. Silk Road Society members receive a complimentary sake flight with a dinner purchase.
