Time Commitment

Selected docents make a commitment of at least two years with the program. Initial training is usually concentrated into the first few months; ongoing training is required on Wednesday mornings. Docents are also expected to spend additional time reading, studying, and preparing for tours on their own.

We are not currently recruiting for docents. If you are interested in the docent program, you are encouraged to submit an application any time. Applications are kept on file for 2 years.
