Young Chi Min performs on daegum (left), a traditional Korean flute, and janggo (right), a double-headed drum that outlines the rhythmic cycles in most genres of Korean music. He is music director of Reimei, a traditional Korean art group in based in Japan, and San-Ta (meaning "scattering and hitting"), an ensemble devoted to creating new interpretations of traditional Korean music.
