Flock Together After Party

Join us for an evening unlike any other in Washington!

May 15, 2015
8:30 PM

On Friday, May 15, 2015, the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery bring together artists and art lovers, philanthropists and diplomats, cultural and business leaders, and young professionals for a sumptuous evening to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Peacock Room REMIX: Darren Waterston's Filthy Lucre and to benefit the museums' American Art Endowment.

At Flock Together, the gala after-party, guests start their extraordinary evening at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery with a champagne reception hosted by the Silk Road Society. There, they enjoy an exclusive preview of Peacock Room REMIX: Darren Waterston’s Filthy Lucre, on public view for the first time in Washington. The dazzling event continues when guests “flock together” at the after-party held in the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. Into the night guests enjoy drinks, a dessert buffet, and dancing with a special performance by BETTY, the rock band that composed and recorded the mesmerizing soundscape for Filthy Lucre.
