The Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery annual gala celebrates the arts and cultures of Asia at a black-tie dinner to benefit the national museums of Asian art. Each year promises guests a glamorous evening on the National Mall and unique experiences with the museums' world-class exhibitions. Funds raised by the gala play a vital role in sustaining the internationally esteemed collections and provide a wide array of dynamic programs highlighting Asian arts and culture. His Highness Gaj Singh II the Maharaja of Marwar-Jodhpur is the guest of honor at this special evening marking the start of a yearlong celebration of India at the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery.
This exclusive black-tie event includes dinner and a private preview of Muraqqa': Imperial Mughal Albums from the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin.
