Picture your power! Join other teens to explore what makes a portrait powerful. View large-scale images of China’s Grand Empress Dowager Cixi (1835–1908) and find out how she used photography to communicate authority. Create a paper or digital self-portrait that projects your own sense of strength.
Light refreshments are provided. Space is limited. Participation is free but registration is required.
