This Chinese porcelain bowl was acquired by its previous owner in the late nineteenth century in Korea, where it was said to have been excavated from a Koryo dynasty (918–1372) tomb. The shape, with foliate rim, lobed bowl, and tall foot, was also made in lacquer.
