The 2013 Asia After Dark season kicks off with a night aboard the Korean pop-culture soul train. Stops include K-Bling art activities inspired by Korean ceramics, a dress-up photo booth, spotlight tours, an exploration station of our new "Collecting Korea" iPad app, and K-wave music and visuals. Here from Korea for one night only, Action Drawing HERO performs a mash-up of drawing, painting, and visual effects, with a witty blend of mime, dance, and comedy. Soju cocktails, Korean beer, and traditional snacks are available for purchase.

Suggested attire: Bringing back "Gangnam Style" and "Soul Train" disco fashion

Ticket Policy

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

Asia After Dark tickets are sold in advance for $25 and are available on this webpage beginning one month prior to the event date. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $5 more using a debit or credit card payment. We accept VISA, Master card, Discover, and American Express. Each ticket includes one free drink

Up to five tickets can be ordered at a time online. Tickets can be picked up at the will-call tables 15 minutes before the event starts and until one hour before it ends. There is no admittance after this time. All tickets in each order will be distributed together (not individually). Any member of the party can pick up tickets with the transaction number on the email receipt. The person who placed the order can pick up tickets with either the email receipt or a photo ID. A photo ID is required to enter the museums.

Check-in for the Freer Gallery of Art will begin at the south entrance of the Freer (1150 Independence Avenue SW). Check-in for the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery is located in the Enid A. Haupt Garden, at 1050 Independence Avenue. In the event of inclement weather, please check this page for check-in location updates or changes.
