Free tickets are required for films in the 300-seat Meyer Auditorium. Up to two tickets per person are distributed at the auditorium one hour before show time.

The AFI box office is located in the Kennedy Center's Hall of States. It opens 30 minutes before screenings, and it is not open on days when no film is scheduled.
Kennedy Center tickets are available at the Kennedy Center box office only. A current membership card is required for all member transactions. AFI accepts American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.

The box office opens at 5:45 p.m. weekdays and at 12:15 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, or 30 minutes before the first film. The theatre is not open to the public before that time.
Reserve tickets online for any regular show with no added fee. Tickets reserved online must be retrieved at the AFI Silver box office with the same credit card used to make the reservation. American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards are accepted. Both advance sale and day-of-show purchases are available online or in person.
